You Are an Agent of Free Sunlight - Robert Montgomery

Robert Montgomery is the first and only fine artist to use an NFT to critique the very medium the work is hosted on. This important new work by Montgomery titled "You Are An Agent of Free Sunlight" explores the existential sphere of the digital world we have created. It looks at how digital communication and devices have become the managers of our time; tracks how our own biographies are now reflected back to us within advertising media, and asks what that means for questions of intellectual and emotional freedom and our connection to the natural world. Within this digital space we are tracked and analysed more than any time in human history. Montgomery suggests that this constant tracking and analysis may be a sort of training process to make the withdrawal of our freedoms in real life easier.
